HHS is distributing the experimental antiviral remdesivir to hospitals hardest hit by COVID-19

Gilead Sciences has donated the experimental antiviral drug remdesivir to the United States to be dispersed to hospitals most difficult hit by the pandemic.

The donated procedure gained Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The restricted provide will go to  COVID-19 clients who are on ventilators.
