The groundbreaking analysis in the DEPICODE task, supported by the European Research Council, is deepening our being familiar with of epigenetics: how external influences such as actual physical activity, psychological stimulation, diet regime and stress influence how our cells examine genetic info. Whilst it is commonly recognised that work out is good for our brains strengthening neural connections to sharpen thinking and enhance memory the DEPICODE teams findings suggest some of these gains can even be passed on to our kids.
This analysis has significant implications not only for future moms and dads but also for the identification of organic signatures, or biomarkers, of epigenetic alterations
