Union Cabinet on Wednesday accepted modified scheme to improve ethanol distillation capacity in the nation for generating 1st Technology (1G) ethanol from feed shares these types of as cereals (rice, wheat, barley, corn & sorghum), sugarcane and sugar beet.
It also gave its approval for deepening and optimisation of internal harbour amenities such as advancement of Western dock on Make, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis beneath the Public Non-public Partnership (PPP) method to deal with cape measurement vessels at Paradip Port.
The approximated job price tag is ₹3,005 crore, Union Minister for Shipping and delivery, Ports and Waterways, Mansukh Mandaviya, instructed reporters at a Cabinet briefing.
